It's that time again. The season when people rush around buying holiday gifts for friends and family. They're planning that special meal for the annual celebration. But what exactly are they celebrating?

Well, some say they're celebrating the winter solstice. Do they also celebrate the summer solstice with gifts and a special dinner? Not likely.

Some say they're celebrating the winter holidays. Which holiday, Thanksgiving and New Year? Isn't that a New Year's eve party. And Thanksgiving is already celebrated, third Thursday in November and only in the U.S.A. So what holiday is the winter holiday?

If you are celebrating December 25th you are celebrating Christmas, or the birth of the Christ, hence the reason for "CHRIST" in the name.

You are celebrating the one who came and died so you may live. You celebrate the birth of the
Son of God who was given to buy your release from Satan and eternal death. You are celebrating God's love for you that he cared so much he sent his only son to shed his blood in your place. You are celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ the Son of God.

So as you rush around from store to store, as you watch your family and friends open their gifts or while you open yours, and as you eat your holiday meal say thanks to the One who came over 2000 years ago for the greatest gift off all. Your salvation.

I'm All For Government Healthcare




Oh how could I have been so dumb? After seeing this video I've decided universal healthcare is the only way to go. Bring it on baby, I'm waiting.

Why?

I am obese, I exceed the 30 lbs that according to this video makes me obese and "one of the drivers of rising health care costs". So after considering my options I've decided that when government health care kicks in I'm getting that weight loss surgery I've been considering. It's for the good of the country you know, so why should I pay for it myself?

My knee has also been bothering me so maybe after the weight loss surgery I'll have the knee surgery done too...thinking about it I should get my teeth done since my 30 year old bridgework has discolored and is now causing me mental anguish since it really doesn't look very nice.

Yup after thinking about it I'm all for government health care.

Here's an idea maybe everyone should start making a list of their "necessary" medical procedures, I shouldn't be the only one enjoying the goodness of those forced to pay for it.

It'll be a wonderful beautiful new world.

The Downfall of a Country

A political thriller


When freshman Senator Maracb Kaboa quickly raises to the top of the political heap snagging the nomination for President of the United States from the grasp of the favored politician few people question his political success. With his minimal history in both state and national politics his political intent is hard to examine and his goals unknown.

One by one Senator Kaboa's associations are revealed including domestic terrorists with the goal of causing the destruction of the country from the inside out, racist ministers and a Communist mentor. The country reacts with scarcely a nod. Slowly his intent of carrying on the work of a long time associate becomes clear; to destroy the infrastructure of the country and bring down one of the greatest nations.

Just days before the election, news that he plans to bankrupt the foundation of a major utility and cause skyrocketing costs, tax businesses out of existence, and redistribute the nation's income it becomes increasingly clear the country is in grave danger. With the mainstream media playing deaf, dumb, and blind to each jaw dropping revelation the majority of the electorate are mindlessly brainwashed into complacency and the indoctrination of his beliefs.

Fighting to stop the runaway train those that were able to overcome his continually broadcast subliminal messages of hope and change work to stop the complete downfall of the country before it's to late.

purchase an extra seat, even if they can be placed elsewhere in the
aircraft next to an empty seat.

The last acceptable discrimination.

Really, what would happen if airlines started charging people in
wheelchairs, blind or other handicapped people? Why is it acceptable to
over charge fat people?

My first thought was I'll just boycott United, but sadly that's not the only airline that discriminates against overweight fliers.

Southwest is not the only major airline with a large-seating policy. US
Airways, Northwest Airlines and America West Airlines all can require
an overweight passenger to pay for two seats but said they do
everything they can to find a pair of empty adjoining seats on the
plane at no additional charge. Midwest Connect, which serves Pittsburgh
from Milwaukee, requires that passengers unable to fit in one seat buy
two; if there are other seats available on the same flight, they will
be refunded for the second.

And just in case people get it into their heads that it's just the airline company that wants to discriminate remember that normal weighted people hate the overweight too...so in todays society of majority rule

I wasn't able to find the article, but just recently an overweight person was charged for the two seats that the airline said was necessary...the two seats weren't next to each other.

Sadly Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg isn't the only one that feels that way. It seems to be a running theme for the left leaning justices. Obama nominee Harold Koh is also for the use of international laws to influence our laws.

The thing that strikes me is the number of places that our rights differ from most countries. More and more countries are following sharia law, will we allow stoning of women found guilty of adultery? How about allowing for female mutilation? Who's to say it's wrong, when another country feels it's right? Some countries are tighting their freedom of speech . Does it become a matter of public opinion? If the majority of the people agree than it's ok. If it's a country we like, is that law ok? How do you pick and choose what country's laws to follow, and which do you not? Is England ok...and which laws do you use?

This whole line of thought is just another way to give away a piece of our uniqueness. It's another way to kowtoe to other countries that instead of rising up to meet us, try to destroy the greatness of the U.S. and pull us down to their level.

This is just one more thing that borders on the edge of treason, and I think anyone that is would push aside our constitution in favor of another countries, and would use laws of another country against their own people,  should be tried for crimes against our country.

This is just wrong. At what point will the American people wake up and fight against the annihilation   of their own country?

The U.N. climate panel on global warming came to complete agreement on the causes of global warming. Issuing its starkest warning yet the panel declared that humans are one of the main causes of global warming. There was also a total consensus as they urged countries to put the earth first and save the the planet at any cost. Fearing humans through their continued existence would bring more drought, heat waves and rising seas, the delegates warned U.S. President Obama and other world leaders that they must take drastic steps before the earth is completely destroyed.

The report, due for release on Friday farther bolsters conclusions from a 2001 study that put pressure on the governments and companies to do more to curb CO2 emissions in their countries.

Scientists and government officials in the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate
Change (IPCC), the most authoritative group on global warming, agreed in a
unanimous consensus that there was strong evidence that human activities were the main cause of global warming increasing over the past 100 years to unacceptable limits. In their strongest language, the IPCC encouraged all countries to do everything possible to end the destructive human behaviors responsible for climate change.

Farther studies have shown that humans as the cause of global warming are also responsible for numerous activities that have been shown to destroy ecosystems, cause the extinction of species and deplete natural resources. These environmental terrorists have been shown that through their existance they are destroying the necessary resources the earth needs for its continued sustainability. While numerous groups have called for tougher regulation over the past two decades this is the first time that numerous government agencies have called for the drastic steps necessary to rein in the destructive activities that cause global warming and Earth's destruction.

After abandoning the suggestion on an implementation of a breath tax the IPCC has decided the quickest and most effective way to stop the ongoing Holocene extinction event and save the planet is by implementing a total global annihilation of the main cause of climate change. In a plan to be announced in the very near future countries will begin curtailing all humans in a last ditch effort to end global warming and hopefully save the planet from one of the deadliest threats to its environment before it's to late for the planet to recover.

President Obama will shortly ask U.S. citizens to set an example to the rest of the world by being the first country to step forward under a new Global Extinction for Environmental Protection Policy. This new policy will implement the euthization of these superpreditors and is set to start immediately. In a prepared speech the President mentioned that "We must save the planet at all costs", halting questions from a number of shocked reporters President Obama continued, "in the name of global patriotism the U.S. will be the first country to do its part for the betterment of the world".

Under the forthcoming IPCC environmental plan, countries are urged to consider eradicating all humans in the quickest and most effective way possible. Information letters will be sent to citizens of major industrialized countries that are known contributors to global warming and encouraged to report at their appointed time to the nearest Citizen Extermination Facility.

President Obama in a meeting with world leaders had this to say, "It is our duty to preserve our planet at all cost. This is our responsibility as citizens; but, more than that, it is our calling as stewards of the Earth." Stopping to wipe a tear from his eye he continued, "Good stewardship of the environment is not just a personal responsibility, but the patriotic thing to do". Continuing he said, "As good Americans and citizens of this earth it is our duty to see that we end humanity. Americans should unite in the belief that we must preserve the land around us, no matter what the cost".

     It wasn't that long ago when a farmer looked to buy a mule from his neighbor.  He asked the neighbor if the mule had any particular problems.

     "No," was what his neighbor replied.  "This mule will do anything you ask him to do.  All you have to do is ask him nicely."  Then he added, "Just make certain you never mistreat my mule if you buy him."  The price was fair, and the mule looked healthy, so the farmer bought the mule.

     The very next day, the farmer wanted to begin his spring plowing and break some new sod that was pretty thick with prairie grass.  So, he burned off the top layer of grass and sharpened his plow blades so the horse could pull the plow through the tough roots and ready the field for planting. He hitched the mule to the plow and said, "Git up!"

     The mule, however, had no intention of pulling that plow and paid no attention to the farmer at all.  The farmer tried talking nicely until his face nearly turned blue.  Then he stomped angrily over to the farm where he bought the mule.

     "I think you lied to me," he told his neighbor.  "You said all I had to do was talk nicely, and the mule would do anything I asked of him."

     That's when the neighbor picked up a wooden two-by-four that was leaning against his barn.  He strode right over to the farmer's house without saying a word.  He walked right up to the mule and hit it in the head with the two-by-four.  After walloping the mule, the man  walked up by the mule's ear and whispered, "Please pull that plow."

     The mule started moving as fast as he could, pulling that steel plow through the tough prairie sod.  "I thought you told me to never mistreat your mule," the farmer told his neighbor with a questioning look on his face.

     The farmer hesitated and said, "Like I said - talkin' nice to him works every time. But, sometimes you have to get his attention first."

Ok the American people are the mule, Government is the farmer.
If you want to get the people to do something first get their attention.

During the campaign run up to the election I was amazed at the way people were going crazy over Obama to the point of losing reason. They were willing to overlook everything that was brought up from his Socialist tendencies to his talk of bankrupting the coal industry (which would result in astronomical utility bills). Nothing could phase the Obamatrons. While people called it "drinking the kool-aid" I joked to family and friends that with repeated use of "hope" and "change"  in Obama's speeches there had to be some type of subliminal messaging, brainwashing or hynosis technique going  at his rallies and in his commercials.

Than I'd feel foolish and begin to worry if I'd soon start wearing a tin hat.

Obama Touts Middle-Class Task Force Led by Biden - WSJ.com

Mr. Obama also used the occasion at the White House to announce
formally a new White House task force on the problems of middle-class
Americans. He named Vice President Joe Biden as its chairman.

Let me see if I have this correct, Joe Biden, the
most out of touch person in the free world will oversee the
middle-class----for what exactly? I'm not quite sure I'm liking where
this is going...I just got that weird sinking feeling in the pit of my stomach that
means Government thinks they can do a better job at running my life than I can...the middle class will now be nationalized...for the good of the country.

  

Mr. Obama set several goals for the task force, including expanding
opportunities for education and training; improving the work-family
balance; restoring labor standards, including workplace safety; and
protecting retirement security.

Reading the goals pretty much just sounds like sticking government's hand up my a$$ to see what they might have missed. First it was TARP, now it's the Generational Theft Act to thank all the liberal progressives for the hand up in Washington, and next it will be taking whatever I have left so Government can make my life better...Obama thinks he can do a better job of running our lives than we do.

The president and vice president said the task force will include
the secretaries of commerce, education, labor, and health and human
services because those Cabinet departments have the most influence on
the well-being of the middle class. It also will include White House
advisers on the economy, the budget and domestic policy.

Mr. Biden pledged that the task force will conduct its business in the open, and announced a Web site, www.astrongmiddleclass.gov,
for the public to get information. He also announced that the panel's
first meeting will be Feb. 27 in Philadelphia and will focus on
environmental or "green jobs."

Yes because the environment and "green jobs" are the most important thing facing the "middle-class"...sounds like just more of the liberal agenda to me.
